Chigger-X ain't too bad to stop the itching...but get a bottle of clear fingernail polish from the ol' lady and cover each bite, let it dry. It'll suffocate the little bastards and kill 'em.

Or super glue
I've heard bathing in epsom salt helps too.
Never tried that so can't verify.
