Or anyone else

Do any of you have a good recommendation for a decent quality, yet decent priced wire welder? I'm not needing one for heavy work, mainly thinner sheet metal work in my garage.
Lincoln makes a 3 in 1 that's decent for $1k

Lincoln Weld-Pak series are decent little MIG welders...I've got a Weld-Pak 100 as well as a 140HD model. Using shielded .030 or .035, neither have never missed a beat in many years. Converted both to run 10lb spools with their spool adapters they sell separately. The 140HD has done some fairly heavy work at times and has held up well with what I've welded with it.

That's about $5-600 more than I'd ideally like to spend. But I haven't priced welders in years.... I may get sticker shocked:(

Dad has a Miller 250 that I'd love to snag. I'm crossing my fingers.

I'm the only one who welds around here, so once I'm gone I know that thing will just sit around. I'm hoping he'll sell it to me under the condition that if they need any work done that I'll swing by and do it. But realistically that's way more of a machine than I'll ever need at home.
