Mike, I'm sure you're bright enough to know what we need here, and what we don't need. What we don't need is people feeling like someone is belittling them because of the hobby they've chosen. If you steer clear of that stuff, we are cool.

What if one's hobby is belittling people on chainsaw forums? :chickenleggedcattlefarmer:

Have any of you guys deep fried a turkey? Tomorrow I'm going to try deep frying a chicken.

How long does it take to deep fry a bird?

You put it in frozen right?
4 mins a lb. Delicious bird. Try injecting it with yellow mustard.

Heat oil to 380-390. Kill the flame, slowly lower a DRY bird into the oil. Re fire the burner and start the timer. Most of the time I find about the time it gets back to 375, bird is done. By the time I get it lit oil is normally down to 300 or so.

Call me. I have done tons.

Eli is having bad luck... He just got in his second wreck in a year and a half....

He was riding with Lisa and some lady decided that the stop sign she was supposed to stop at was a 4-way stop...
Never mind Lisa was rolling down the road at 60mph and only yards away from the suposid 4-way stop.

Thankfully no one was heading towards Lisa in the opposite lane so she swerved hard to prevent a head on collision and more than likely kill the lady. Everyone turned out fine thankfully. Just poor Eli was shaken up pretty hard.

Poor guy. He's lucky to be alive after the wreck the two of us were in and almost two years later he's in a wreck in a very similar situation. The little guy is slightly shaken up:(

I've deep fried a few turkeys and chickens. That ended when I bought a smoker. I never cared for how dry the outside inch of meat is after frying one.
