How are you doing Jason? What model is your Traeger? They are having a sale at Home Depot. What's up fellas? Looking like on/off scattered rain around these parts for the wknd.
Doing good Mike. Mine is the Traeger Pro 34. It'll hold a ton of groceries if you need to smoke or grill for a crowd. If you can get it for less than normal asking price, $999, go for it...you won't be disappointed. And add the big folding front shelf at some point. It's a must. Silly that's it's not standard on it for the price of the Pro 34. I added the folding front shelf and the bottom storage shelf as well to mine. Let me know if you ended up getting it.How are you doing Jason? What model is your Traeger? They are having a sale at Home Depot.

Good deal it's a 34 for 899, and a free cover. Done deal now to go home and put it together.Doing good Mike. Mine is the Traeger Pro 34. If it's a Pro 34 and not the other, I think maybe Elite 34, for $899, you did fine. The Pro 34 comes with two meat probes/thermometers, not sure if the other 34 model does. The Pro 34 also comes with their latest, greatest Advance Grilling Logic controller.Good deal it's a 34 for 899, and a free cover. Done deal now to go home and put it together.
That's slick right there Dave.View attachment 70635
Here's the end of the log they used for hotsaw competition when I went. I had our Stihl rep snag it when he was cleaning up. Had the top three winners autograph it at the end.
Yes sir. Working for a dealer at the time I got front row seats for freeThat's slick right there Dave.
I think it's a pro 34. Before the sale it was 999, and your right about the help, this thing is heavy. If it's a Pro 34 and not the other, I think maybe Elite 34, for $899, you did fine. Gonna need a second set of hands to put it together.
Send me a pic of it when you get a chance. Pic of the controller and pellet box as well. How they're packaged definitely requires two sets of hands.I think it's a pro 34. Before the sale it was 999, and your right about the help, this thing is heavy.

It looks as if you have the Texas Elite 34...a 34 nonetheless, and with the cover included, not a bad deal at all. The Elite 34 normally runs $899, of course places are gonna have their markup...but still a good purchase with the cover included. Think the cover alone runs about $60-75. If you look at the optional top grate to purchase, you can take that roughly 650 sq in's of cooking grate space, and step it up to about 880 sq inches total. Again, shoot me some pics of the whole machine. You made a fine purchase Mike...you're gonna be amazed as hell, how well that animal smokes and grills. We'll talk pellets, what I've used, etc, etc, later if ya want to.Here is some pics.View attachment 70649View attachment 70651
