A few years ago I was hunting over at my parents farm. I was going on my fourth day and getting frustrated.

I went home for lunch and told my Dad I'd be back later to go and sit again.

I had left all my decoys out when I left.
As I was walking back out there, I could see something laying by one of them.

As I got up to it there was a frozen Butter Ball laying there........I could hear my Dad laughing across the field.

7:45 was a cool hunt had to move a couple times to make things happen. Birds were gobbling everywhere.

Will try for bird number 2 Friday and Saturday.

Kinda weird this year, birds gobblin everywhere, don't see many hens, or 1 hen and 5 gobbs, interesting hunt here to. Belly crawled strait up his azz while he was in full strut in a dirt field. Still can't believe it worked, my buddy said give it a try were just watchin a porno here. He bred her an went over the crest , 10 min latter I'm on my belly makin a sneak. 9 times outa 10 that will never work agin
