Not too bad. Been dicking with generators most of the day. Just went and got my friends larger generator and wired it in to my breaker panel. We have hot/running water now so that's a huge win for the day.

Did you get hit with the storm at all?

some heavy rains they had tornado warnings last night but dont know if that happened

I could see the house shake from the wind last night. We've had some serious wind over the years but I think this was the worst.

Wanna tell all of ya something now...I've lost two of my older brothers, Mom and Dad are gone as well. I've got an older sister, got colon cancer. She's goes for radiation and chemo this coming Monday. It's been a *f-worded up ride, she even had a total hysterectomy in the process. I'm beside myself fellas...ain't a *f-wordin Marine supposed to be the 'cure all'?...I want every damn one of ya to pray for my sister. I ain't never asked for much... I need your prayers now!!

Nope. Now they're saying maybe tomorrow. Earlier today they said it wouldn't be back on until Thursday evening.

There's dead Ash trees everywhere around here right now from the emerald ash bore. I said a year ago that power outages would start to climb because of it and it's been happening more frequent the last six months or so.

Our rural power company here is pretty good. When they upgrade the poles, they get new or bigger right of ways and clear everything in its path
