Honestly, good hardwood isn't abundant right here on my place. If it's hard, it gets turned into firewood. I have a surplus of poplar, popple, aspen, whatever you want to call it, and basswood. If I had hardwood everywhere like I do softwoods, I'd test saws in that. For me, it's not how fast I can cut through a log, it's how much faster, if any, I cut through it ported vs stock, or round vs square etc. If an area needs to get cleaned up or cleared i drag it up to the shop and make cookies. Videos are used only for comparisons for me.
