Dicked with the 288 a little bit, sharpened a chain for a feller and BS'd for a while, and he got his buddy to buy a saw. We were outside cold starting a few saws messing around, German or Swede took countless pulls to get going, drug out an old McCulloch choked it pulled it once it started pushed the choke to off and it was still running. Why can't a modern saw do what one from the 1970's will? Lol

Right now I would suffer and use a stock 026 on the pecker poles, that is only until the 261CM-VW comes home from @tree monkey . For 12 to 20" I would use the MMWS562XP. Over 20" I see pretty rarely. Could use the 24" on the 562 with an adapter or maybe fuel up the new in box 441CM-VW.
If I bought this 044 it would likely be to flip (unless I discovered is was a 10mm slant fin...)

$350 canuck isn't bad. Could make a free dinner selling it to the US probably
