I'm been trying to talk a arborist company here into letting me sharpen there chains. They won't let me, nor will they sharpen there own. They say for the price of Oregon chain on the internet, cheaper to buy new then pay there guys to sharpen.
This is where I have a problem with internet shopping. How low will they go. Price wars hurts us all
Square grind one of their chains for free and let them try it.

Mostly the second sharpening shows me if a chain is any good then i usually find a nail or a porcelain insulator.

We have a disease in our pin oaks. They are all dying, so I've been cutting a bunch of it the past couple years.

Trouble is, they have little hard branches all over them. Them screw in tree stand steps blend right in...

But a fella quickly realizes "hey that ain'ta limb" lol
