I hope it's better than that turkey bacon chit

I've never had turkey bacon before, but I've yet to hear anyone who says its any good.


This beef bacon was pretty tasty. BUT, my buddy said he paid $8 a pound for the stuff, where $5 a pound at the butcher can buy you real bacon. I'd still rather have real bacon.

One of these Sunday's we are going to try making our own, it looks pretty simple.

Yea, it's cheaper to drive with a family of 4 vs fly.

I've got some rifles down there that I should take home. I've been keeping them down there instead of having to check them at the airport every time I flew. If for some reason I'd need one of them my buddy would then ship em to me.

Now the Feds changed the law they no longer allow shipping a firearm from private party to private party. Now everything needs to be shipped through a FFL.

A lot is going to depend on the route I take and timing.

I'm pondering making a run through Illinois and saving about 2 hours or going through Kentucky and Tennessee.

The though of rolling through Illinois with a load of guns and ammo doesn't thrill me much
