I've done worse to that truck. Broke both rear springs a year or so ago. I really shouldn't have a half ton. Next one won't be.
I'll be out from under this flippin mortgage payment in a few months then I'll replace it with something heavier.A good 3/4 ton is hard to beat, costs more all the way around, for the same reason divorces are so expensive, they're worth it.
