If you've got your hours/time documented, money owed you, even if you have them written down on the back of a Wendy's napkin, go the civil/magistrate court route. Piss on him, just like he's pissed on you. Around here, it costs $35 to drag someones' ass into civil/magistrate court. Show him the same disrespect young man, he's shown you!

You can go to booting off in his ass if you can handle it, but the outcome now is you going to jail for the convenient 'assault' nowadays. Several avenues to 'even the score' and settle up, just don't get caught. Now you go to jail, he pays nothing, and he walks with an even bigger grin on the screwing he put on you. Take him to civil/magistrate court and be done with it. You have every right to ask for the claim of your back-pay wages plus the civil/magistrate court fee to be included as well.

You can go to booting off in his ass if you can handle it, but the outcome now is you going to jail for the convenient 'assault' nowadays. Several avenues to 'even the score' and settle up, just don't get caught. Now you go to jail, he pays nothing, and he walks with an even bigger grin on the screwing he put on you. Take him to civil/magistrate court and be done with it. You have every right to ask for the claim of your back-pay wages plus the civil/magistrate court fee to be included as well.

This is your stance on this...I sure as hell as a blue collar worker, would never let it 'ride'...if you're good with it, that's all that matters when it comes down to it. I personally, would never let 3 days pay go without disputing it in the right forum...and the forum works for you, not him. You've got the horsepower in this, not dickhead, from what you've told me. Look at it this way...if you're married/kids possibly...sounds like a little extra jingle, that's owed to you to begin with, to put off to the side and stash...mo money later for Christmas this year for them. Hell...you earned and worked for it! Just got screwed on the payout of the work. I'd blister his ass in court for that reason if nothing else. Look at it as grocery money to feed mouths if nothing else...you earned it through your sweat.

A chain around the center sections of hydraulic lines hooked to a truck.... on a few skidders is more what I was thinking. The repercussions aren't worth it though.
