Around here if the hen loses her eggs or chicks. She'll come back into heat and have another batch.

Coyotes, foxes, and coons are hell on turkey eggs around here. If hens didn't come back in heat, they'd be extinct here

Me too. Started a fast pitch softball tournament Fri afternoon. Played 3 games Saturday and one today. Lost the championship game. Yesterday was warm til the sun went down.

The last tournament I played in was a Beer tournament.
1/2 barrel on 2nd, had to finish a glass before 3rd. Or it was automatic out.

This is a little more competitive than that, although they play like that here too. We won the MI class c state championship last year. It's all fun, no matter how competitive

We went to the auction looked around and left. wasn't nothing there I wanted. the three saws were cheap newer poulans and one homelite and had been left in the weather and bar and chain rusted up. All the tools were rusted up and the ones that weren't were Chinese junk.

We used to have 8 or 10 teams here in a town with a population if 2500. About 6 years ago, it ended due to lack of interest. This year they've got 3 teams so it's starting back up again

We had Fast pitch teams here but not many.

Was mostly Slow pitch here. It seemed like every bar had at least one men's and one woman's team.
There were games at least 3 nights a week and always something on the weekends.

I can't remember the last time I seen a game going on during the weekend.

Worked till 0745. Boxed up a saw to ship. Ran to the parts store for some engine degreaser and hi temp paint. Replaced the batteries in the smoke detectors only to see that they're chirping because their ten years old.
