I could be wrong but I don't think there is any performance gains from them any way. Don't make no sense to cut up a bed, and take up bed space.
Yeah I get plenty of holes in my bed without putting them there on purpose.

I looked up the 620 that you mentioned. Pretty sure there was one on my local CL not long ago. Was $50 and it didn't last long. Cool saw I'll be keeping my eyes open for another one.

I don't have any of the old 600 series saws, but they are cool old saws for sure.
