Yep +1 on that long live the sbc.

Here is a 355 me and a couple friends threw together back in highschool. All stock gm parts other than pistons, cam, intake carb. 7500 rpm revlimiter. That was season 6 of 9 with nothing more than oil changes. Currently resides in a street truck.

That is one combo that just worked... nobody be lived it was just a plain Jane small block..

Now that is what I'm talking about Joe, I like the older stuff. I have very little faith in the ls motors longevity.

Yep, It had no compression in one hole when I bought it.

I started stock a couple weeks ago. Modded muffler is worth about 7% on this saw. Ported, it's worth 12%.

What no 40% what's up with that Kevin?

Nope, that's the block...

Should be able to drop a 4.8,5.3 in if no budget friendly 6.0 available..

Just a flex plate spacer, and ecm reflash should be all that's required...
