Everything is a trade off, that's for sure. It just saves so much time sharpening and I don't seem to mind performance disadvantage - yet, I still have full house chains if I change my mind.

It's a huge time saver for sure. If I'm cuttin' clean wood I will throw one on.

No, but it still takes a bit of work to do up a round file chain. I have a new square chain and a goofy file that I've yet to try, I keep looking at it though. Lol

I have yet to give square filing a try yet, but I want to soon. Have you cut with your new square chain yet?

Got Valentines day (*f-word cupid) out of the way this evening. She's lucky to have me. That Stihler just happened to be near our journey this afternoon and just stopped to see if that saw was still sitting there since before Christmas.
