I was going to make a thread but figured I'd post it here, Why don't they make a replacable ball joint for this big heavy chunk of metal. I had to replace this a while back and had to buy the whole bar. Seems like a waste to not have just the ball joint replaced, plus the extra cost. So anyone know why they don't, this thing is three feet long and an inch and half wide and weighs probably 40 pounds.

If it is a dodge ram track bar, there is a nice aftermarket kit offered. It's a go bad item. I've replaced 2-3 on my trucks. The aftermarket kit is kinda spendy. I've been just replacing them with Moog OEM replacements.

The newer trucks have replaceable bushings and bolt right up. They make a kit to go to that style for your truck.

It's off a 2500 ram. May check into something else when this one dies, but it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. think it was 200 bucks.

My son brought this over today, He gave 8 bucks for it at goodwill. he lost it.lol Now I gotta find a camo cover.

Morning Rick. The 3rd and 4th gen setup has the track bar that bushings can be changed out. I've put the Lazar Smith bushings in 5 or 6 trucks now that I've owned a few others. They seem to hold up great and I've never put another set in yet. Some are pushing 150k miles on them now.
