Anybody running old saws i have xl 12s and super xls

I've what I call the antique fleet, right now is an XL102A, Super XL, Poulan 306A, Stihl 041AV and a pile of others whenever I feel like getting another one running(bored).

WhicH one of you fellas is hoarding 272 parts??

I need a filter elbow and the "low" style filter.

@Stump Shot might be your man. If not, I'd try bplust

I'm down to using 266/288 style elbows and filters myself. The elbows are easy to come by, the filter housing and bracketry are another story on the Aftermarket, still available from Husqvarna though. My hoard is getting picked over pretty well. Think I have an AM elbow if you can come up with the rest. SS

Much more cost effective for sure, I have yet to see any performance issues yet. I THINK that the first 272 style was for keeping it cleaner longer, the Hi tops at the very end(USA) were for flow.

Fk ace they put a couple here in town right across the good ol roach hardware I'll pay the extra every time walking to the roaches is like stepping back in time plus they run up and help you

Couldn't be much better Dallas. Had a fire going all day, watched my son ride his 4 wheeler just knowing today was the day he'd wreak it for the first time. He never did. He was very cautious of it till today, he way giving it hell. I sat back sipping a couple stouts just waiting....
