I picked up a locked 044 the other day. I pulled the cylinder off. The piston wasn't scored at all. The cylinder had about 40% of the chrome missing. Some was just above the exhaust port. What do you think caused it? Just a super high hour saw?

I do have another crank and a cylinder from another saw that should clean up.
