I think you'll be ok with the skip chain and a muffler mod. Ported they get plain nasty imo.

The one in the video has a rim setup and unlimited coil. But still a 590 everything else.

First one I did liked to tune 14-14500

The Christmas saw likes 13500-800 I like hearing the tune vs coil.

Built a really mild all 590 for a friend that one tunes just below the coil runs a 24" and couldn't be happier for a firewood saw.

When i moved to this place i didn't know any of the neighbors and everything was posted no tresspassing after fixing a few saws and dropping some trees i now have hundreds of acres to hunt on and more trees for firewood than i could ever use lol

This is the first one I did. Before the carb mod it was tuned round 13,500 h side closed off. Just a bit rich still.
