Evening men. Well, today didn’t go as planned. Spent all day trying to repair rafters tails to get enough good wood to nail to. The metal JF channel was ordered wrong so I had to cut the top leg off to make it work with the vinyl soffit. The materials we requested weren’t purchased, and we had to wait for him to run back out, which is an hour one way. The guy that’s over this place literally passes a Lowe’s coming to work and going home. No pics because I was pretty pissed all day, lol. I’ll snap some first thing Monday since we are picking up what we need our dang selves!

I see both sides of this your thoughts on this. We have issues from time to time because of materials not being on site. But they still expect to hold the original schedule. After a while it's tough to just say fugg it.

I get it. The guy over this unit isn’t my supervisor, in fact, in a few months, I’ll probably be his. I just get frustrated when I get thrown into a project an hour from my work base, when we have things here I need to do. I get where you’re coming from though.

One of our mechanics likes to play on his phone any time the main mechanic is on vacation. In the winter when it get dark earlier you can find him by the glow from his phone screen when he is hiding in the lot in one of the trucks. Absolutely worthless. One night he followed a driver into the parking lot threatening him because the driver was refusing to drive one of the trucks he had "worked" on. Should have been fired on the spot but he sucks a lot of management cock.
