We went to dinner at our son's house last night and the wind was horrendous, poplars were bending over 45 degrees

It blew the lid off the his bee hive despite probably 50 lbs of rocks on it and then blew the entire bee hive across the yard, scattering everything out of it

He has been attempting to over winter his bees but that's all done now

No, they haven't

They have posters up, facebook stuff, $1,000 reward offered, cops, fish and game, friends flying and looking, even running drones with IR, etc

I don't know what to think but it is possible someone quite a ways out from town has it and isn't aware yet what the situation is

or

It found some more horses and is staying close to them and the owner of the other horses hasn't seen it or figured it out

or

Someone flat stole it

The area around Homer is just a series of hills, valleys, rivers, muskeg, sea cliffs, ravines, etc that could easily trap or kill a horse that wans't used to the area

I jumped on the tractor and crawled up on the hill after work. Found a nice half dead ash, tipped her over and dragged it all the way back to the shop. I’m not sure if I’m getting lazy or smart in my oldness…
