So no deer again today. Going to squirrel hunt tomorrow and bring my 357, as I am sure the deer will be around when I have a pea shooter in my hands.

We had that 2 nights ago. Wife went with a friend to eat and catch up. Oldest went with her boyfriend. So it's just me and my youngest so we kept it easy.

We do the helper pretty often…I love that shìt. Lol

4 hours or so total fishing time. Oil bath tomorrow with some homemade hot rolls. K.I.S.S. Plain cornmeal dip, fry then little salt.

Some of the best tasting fish out there. Ice is too thin right now but we’ll be getting after them soon.

we get a 1/4 beef from a local guy every so often, thats usually the thing that goes quickest. two kids and a picky wife. we eat a lot of spaghetti, stroganoff and tacos haha

It goes back to the AS days when the so called “pro” loggers had their own threads. So the Not So Pro thread was started and here we are now on OPE.

We go in on a whole beef from a local farm with my parents every year. I know the picky thing all too well..

People have been on the ice since the beginning of the month here. My mom and dad went this past Thursday and Friday and almost limited out on bluegill in a few hours.
