We butchered five, one was for the neighbor kid. I just put 50 meat birds and a 300lb hog in the freezer also. Plus we have some beef left and more will be ready in March. Freezer space is always an issue but I’m definitely not complaining.

They make more freezers every day. We have 2 chest freezers and then 2 refrigerator/freezers. Between the deer and the hog we buy and the garden harvest, we keep ours full too. Have things timed right to run out of venison usually in Oct/Nov. Then start over.

We try to do the same but it’s always a shuffle. I froze a batch of kraut the other day. It was pretty tasty, I hope freezing doesn’t change the flavor much.

Hey Ed, Appreciate the effort and taking time out of your day for timg.I gotta go back out for a week starting Sunday. I'll nurse it along pulling the cable. But when I get this truck back into a dealer I'll let you know what they say. Hopefully I can make it up to you somehow, some day my man!
