We also hunt some neighbors properties, and we always take them a few sticks of summer sausage after it’s made up, as a thank you. Being neighborly goes a long ways.

Fiber here has been crushed when its placed in a steel conduit and fills with water and freezes,, not an easy fix either

They trenched plastic into our place. They neighbours are up and running and they are after us in the run. Will find out tomorrow when the tech shows up. For now I re-fired the Starlink so that we aren’t running everything off our phones.

I would be on a parts run in El Paso, picking up bearings, or belts or whatever and the Mennonites would walk in to the supply houses

It didn't matter who was doing what, they stopped and all of them helped the Mennonites because they always spent a LOT of money and paid CASH

They carried rolls of $100 bills that would choke a hippo, and I seriously doubt that happens anymore

They came across the border from their farms in Mexico
