Morning Gents, -17F feels like -33 with the wind. I didn’t think buried Fiber Optic cables could be affected by cold but maybe they can. Our ISP supply is down, waiting for a tier 2 tech to confirm Fiber health. Internal network is fine, needed to get the wife online for work using her phone as a hotspot.

I am supposed to be in office today for some meetings so waiting another hour too hear from the tech and if their service is a no go firing up one of Elon’s spy devices.

Fiber here has been crushed when its placed in a steel conduit and fills with water and freezes,, not an easy fix either

Evening folks. Apparently the local Menards had a bomb threat today and now the state patrol helo is flying around the area. Wife just got an update they are looking for a group of people and to keep lights on and doors locked. I miss the days when this town was small. The scum needs to stay in the cities

I butchered the deer, not a butcher, and the end result looks like this too.
But Even and I had fun while we were at it.
We're dividing it into three parts, one part for each of the neighbors, these three allow us to use their property. Even though we shot the deer on my property, meat is meat, I prefer my good neighbors to get the deer meat.
Will let the meat mature for another day or two.

Tomorrow, Øsa is going to the forest, my friends Even and Egil are with us. We don't need to shoot a lot of deer, if she does a formidable job, we'll have to consider.

Just got word that my brother in law passed away last night. Only 71.
