Never been in Koots but pretty sure it either built more or expanded into other businesses

Place got really out of hand with drugs and violence a few years back

My son lived in Spenard before he bought our old house and I was so relieved he got out of there

Lots of Pacific Islander and Asian gangs taking the area over and shooting people in front of his house

Turned into a real *s-wordhole

Was an Asian lady that ran The Bunny Club and she about turned me inside out.
Also was an Asian couple that ran the Tropicana, where I stayed. I got chewed out for having company(stripper) over and not paying for two. Got mad when I told them it was only for a couple hours. I walked out when the non english speak came out in a flurry. Way I saw it, I should have gotten credit for the night I was away at The Bunny Club.
Probably their kid started the gang. Lol

Cut both tendons for the pinky and they waited a week and a half to do surgery
The back of my hand can still hold a teaspoon of water
Both index fingers have been sewn back together
I’ve cut the corners off a couple fingers when I was cutting drywall
I have abused my body and it is catching up with me

Been lucky I haven't hurt myself worse. Only major thing was pulling a full coffee pot over on to myself when I was one. Mom said I reached up and grabbed the cord that was hanging down. Earned a nice scar on my shoulder for that one and a cut across the bridge of my nose.

Mine is brining as well but I’m just old school oven roasting it

The local newspaper had an article today asking people to please not burn their house down when deep frying their turkey

I cheat and use a propane smoker and grill. With my job it is easier since I can't always be home to babysit a charcoal one. Main thing is to get the smoke flavor into it and if necessary, finish in the oven. Still would like to get a charcoal grill at some point, especially with a steer and a half in the freezers right now.

Worked 12 hour's and just got home to the power being out for no reason
Just slightly misting rain


I didn't even start a generator i fired up my camp stove and heated a room and made tea.
I bought a couple of these they are handy for anything.
Neighbor borrowed it to go fishing and cooking alone the bank.

The only hitch I've had is making sure it's charged. When I plug it in I have to remember to pull the probe from the base and set it back in so both components charge. Walmart.com had them for 30 bucks. That is a steal imo. I'm not sure if they still do but there is no way I'd pay meater money( @Kiwioilboiler ) over this.
