I put the meat into 2.5 gallon ziplock bags. It filled 2 1/2 of them. I didn’t weigh it, but there’s roughly 45 lbs of meat. We average 18 lbs per bag.

I froze everything for now. We’re not firing up the grinder for just 1 deer, so we’ll thaw these out when we get enough to process.

Just my little family typically consumes 150-160 lbs of venison burger per year.
