Looking like fun with brakes for a little while today. The wife's car needs rear rotors (hard surface is delaminating ) and pad replacement.
Knew it was coming as it's an '12 Malibu.

So if it's like everything else now you will have to take the trunk and the windows out to put brakes on

This Malibu ended up being just about a swap out pads and rotors job. Had to do a little rust cleanup on the caliper mount, but that's fairly common on these cars.
