Decided to fire up the pit boss and do some ribs since I’m home. Quick run to sams for ribs. I’ll take a brisket out today for the weekend as well.

What’s up dudes!?!? I mowed lawns today and got some moving projects done for the work yard. We’re in extreme fire danger due to high wind so no saws allowed today. We’ve got another big fire that started and has moved near Athens.

Decided against a full packer since I have 3 smaller ones from my beef order. Also the farmer tends to trade beef for work so last time I replaced a shower head I was paid in a 7 pound brisket. They are a nice piece for just the wife and I and we get the perfect amount of leftovers. Ribs are smelling great as I was mowing the lawn. My poor wife is working from home today and the smoker is right outside her office window.

I had my favorite lufkin tape measure for over 30 year's
I was helping my friend build an addition on his house
He has like 5 tape measures but he didn't want to ruin his and uses mine to pull wire through the ceiling breaking it
I pulled each of his tape measures out and put solar seal adhesive on each one
He thought they rusted up.
