I think having drywalled and painted walls, with the wood ceilings would be a good combination. With all the walls and ceilings both done that way, I could see that getting old.

On Millie's house, we plan to use drywall for the ceiling, and t&g pine on the walls.

Awesome. I was a huge Metallica fan when I was younger. Still appreciate a lot of their music, but don’t listen to them much anymore..
My unpopular opinion is Load and ReLoad are my 2 favorite albums. Probably because they came out about the time I “discovered” them.

My favourite style is Timber Frame or Post and Beam with some exposed wood but drywall between, walls and ceilings. working with light and lighting for 25 years you experience the downfalls of too much wood surfaces.
