All the raffle prizes came through Scheel’s, so I’ll be doing some looking around before I pull the trigger, so to speak. A lot of the time, they have some great deals in their used rack. Otherwise I’ve been eyeing up the G43 for a year or so. Don’t “need” it, but I like how it feels in the hands.

We started the beekeeping thing last year. It's fun and challenging at the same time. Neither of my colonies made it through winter, though, and the hive autopsies pointed at varroa mites.

Probably a smart move, let the son deal with it. I'm in too deep now, financially and mentally. I have to make it work

The class turned out to be a real eye opener and I am glad all I am doing is financing this endeavor, at least for this year

It is fascinating but as you said, challenging to say the least

This last summer was really *s-wordty and the instructor must have said "do this, unless it was like last summer" about 50 times because all the rules went out the window last year
