I actually am one of the few that is naturally tock resistant - they just don’t attract to me. My wife is the opposite, and she’s had them on her already this year from looking for shed antlers and hiking.

I remember reading that they are attracted to carbon dioxide output, as well as heat signatures from the body. I’m sure there’s other signals that trigger ticks into falling onto their victims from brush and branches. I just rarely get any on me, and I’m OK with that.I found one on me a few days ago. You’re supposed to be looking at the balloon knot, not for ticks.Same here. Wifey had one on her back the other day. Hadn’t been in the woods but she’s always messing with those damn horses.
Dallas making you drinks again? Anything else hurt this morning?Morning slacker’s. Knee feels pretty good this morning even after doing a round of exercises. I’ll hit the bike here shortly and see how it feels after that. I was woken up by pain in the knee last night and it might have popped but I’m was pretty out of it so I’m not sure.
