I know I have told this story before but WTH, when we bought our first SNOWMOBILE we called USAA Insurance in TEXAS and said we wanted to insure our SNOWMACHINE (yes, we were Alaskans and they are called snowmachines up here) and the lady said why would you need a machine to make snow in Alaska

The funniest part?

Alyeska Ski Resort just outside of Anchorage uses snow MAKERS extensively when Mother Nature is PMSing

Yep. I have shingles. Very painful in a weird way. Feels like my skin is being stretched to the point of tearing. That's the best way I can describe it.

That's how I figured out my supervisor at work was from Alaska.

I had a 1/2 day of work, so I loaded a sled (snowmobile) in the bed of my truck, so I could go ride, right after I got done for the day.

Supervisor Quinn see's my sled, says to me, I didn't know you were into snowmachining Matt...

Me, I didn't know you were from Alaska, Quinn....

We both laughed. He was born & raised up there.
