I really see no rhyme or reason behind which trees the hacked the hell out of and which ones they left.

It's not supposed to make sense. Unlike on AS (s), people here seem to keep most of the drama on this thread instead of taking things off topic. I was not sure why it was "not so pro 3" either.

The state road has a new type of grapple saw truck with probably 24" saw blades
I think it had 3 on it
On a telescoping arm to cut from the road
I'd never seen one before but it absolutely butcher's everything
I guess it's to save time on the the state road guy's having to wake up from the club cabs they sleep in under overpasses to cut along the road.
It leaves the worst mess I've seen and we have asplundh here
And it's worse than them.

The one they have here is a side mount on a tractor. It makes a big mess, chunks of wood all over the road. Some trees the hugged the top off but left about 5' of the stem..wtf, just take the whole thing then.

Yesterday went for annual physical. This morning just got back from a blood draw.
