I learned about sex on the school bus.

When I was in school, high school students drove the buses.Obviously before background checks were required for bus drivers…

did you tell your wife or is she the same one ?Doesn’t matter, she was hot.
I tend to agree and disagree. The M12 series of tools are adapted to power demands for certain tools. Their compact drills are fantastic when a bigger drill just won’t allow you to do precision work. The small impact is is great especially on saws and smaller projects where the bigger ones are cumbersome and tend to over torque. Also since the charger handles both there so real disadvantage there.
you should see how small the new 1/4 impact isI know what you're saying. My statement was more of a blanket statement for my needs & uses, and what tools aren't even available in the M12 line, no router, no screwgun, no sawall in the M12 line. There's only one tool in the M12 line I would use regularly if I owned it. A 1/4" hex impact driver.
I compared the M12 vs M18 impact drivers side by side when I was fixing to buy one. The M12 impact driver is almost 1/2" longer in overall length, compared to a M18 impact driver. Power specs M12 is 1,500 in/lbs, M18 is 2,000 in/lbs. I figured what's the point of having a M12 impact driver, that's longer in overall length, so the head won't fit in as tight of spaces, and it has less power. So I went with the M18 impact driver. Plus the M12 just felt weird and unbalanced in my hands.
I'm sure most of the M12 tools are great tools. There is just none of them I would use regularly if I had them. Yes the chargers are set up for both platforms, which is nice for guys who have both.
