we got 3 or 4 inches of snow during the cold spell and so far this snow storm we got another 6 inches on top of it
plow trucks have been going past every so often
maybe you didnt go quite far enough south lol

As you are further north, it makes more sense to have plows. As infrequently as this happens, the guy that dismounts the plow will retire before the next one. And the newer guys won't know they even have plows, forget knowing how to mount them. Lol

in 93 we had snow almost 2 feet and plows was taking care of the main roads
but my road had tracks going in and out
so maybe its operator error in tenn ?

Good morning fellas. Sounds like the annual cold snap is about done, -19f currently (@OOT place) getting to +10f early afternoon.
It was almost fun feeding the stove, but so glad we will see +30f or so by Monday.

hell im just glad our state road are not just sitting along the road asleep like they do in the summer time

we dont have county road maintenance just state and downtown has city crews

My road gets plowed the day after it snows, or the day after that. Where the hell are they transplanted from? Cuba?

At least we don't have light poles for them to hit. No streetlights here, a few power poles though. No hydrants either. Plenty of ditches for them to get pulled out of too.

Florida mostly. They move down to Florida from up north only to realize that its fughin hot there. Then they move to Tennessee thinking it will be cooler.

i drove front wheel drive for a long time
when i could get them sawdust recaps and when i couldnt get them i ran winter tires
when in doubt throttle it out
