Good morning fellas. It’s brisk outside around here. Done snowing, but it’s still blowing around and the high for today is 12* with temps dropping to below 0 by this evening. Winter is finally here.

We just have some blowing snow. -3 currently but it's not stopping these guys from getting out.

Also I forgot to add that I used an old mud flap for the snowblower upgrade.

Good morning folks. This stuff called snow missed us at the homestead once again. 9f now and for most of the day, so they say.

Guess I spoke to soon, lite dusting's through later this afternoon.

Good day to do a fresh frozen tomato cook-down for making some pasta sauce. Just need a couple more supplies to make sure the flavors are all there. Need a bit more fennel, and some pepperoni for part of the batch.

That’s the spirit! My boys just played outside for about 3 hours while I cleared the driveway. Wind and snow hitting them in the face and when you tell them it’s time to go inside, they complain.

Just finished moving snow including a path to the woods.

I found a low place, well protected from the wind. Rolled out a helluva wad of hay in there. That will give the 5 that are already born a good place to ride it out. The two that have yet to calve....I'll just watch real close. If they spit one out, I'll grab it up and get it warm and dry by the wood stove. Won't be the first time....
