Can you tell the difference between 0°F and -35°F? I feel like when gets that cold, it'd all start to seem the same.

There's ski fields in the middle of both islands Joe. We've produced a few winter sport world Champs in fact. Also have a winter car test facility in the Sth Island used by all the majors.
Just none near me. Which I'm fine with.

But isn't it 35 times colder?.........

Hey where do i drill a hole in the dash of a 2006 Buick lecerne with a 6" hole saw to get more heat out?
It's a 500.00 beater i bought last spring to drive to work
I am not emotionally attached in the slightest it'll be crushed when it stops moving.
It's paid for itself a hundred times over.
I am more than willing to butcher the dash.
It has heat at the steering wheel vents
And Arctic cold at the other vents.
I'm going to reverse flush the heater core
But i know it's one or all of the
Blend actuators.

I'd bet it's the heater core being restricted.
If it has a cabin air filter, that's probably plugged and not helping airflow.
There really isn't a spot you could just punch a hole in it to guarantee hot air

Okay cool. I kinda thought NZ got winter weather, but I wasn't totally sure. I know where NZ is on a map of the earth but it's hard for me visualize and scale relative to other countries and the equator and the poles, etc.

Kidding aside, my buddy went to NZ twice Red Stag hunting & said it was a VERY COLD/SNOWY place both times (time of year I'm sure).

Good day to do a fresh frozen tomato cook-down for making some pasta sauce. Just need a couple more supplies to make sure the flavors are all there. Need a bit more fennel, and some pepperoni for part of the batch.

Figured since I'm taking the time for the cook down, may as well do some extra for doing some chili.

And a small portion of some other stuffs to be added once cooked down a bit more.

And that doesn't include what will go into the chili batch.

In other news. I made a big pot of white chicken chili. Fixing to go get in the sweat lodge.
