Here we have a robust electrical grid and it is almost 100% green hydro electric power and it’s cheap. We are under 6 cents/kwh (sorry, I don’t know how to convert that to “dumb yankee” measures so a charge at home is about 1/10 the cost of gas. Once I have our garage rebuilt and a new sub panel run to it I can see an EV in there for a daily commuter. Prices are going to start dropping as supply seems to be getting better. Was on a couple different lots last week, lots of Lightnings and Mach E’s on each of the Ford lots and the larger Chevy lot had more Electic Blazerrs that gas.The governor of Connecticut pulled back from his edict that they would go along with California and go completely EV by 2035
He said it was absolutely unfair to poor, working middle class, etc and wasn't in the public's best interests at this time
I guess that was a major blow to the EV crazies
FixededThis guy gets it.
I know one day I will not drive an electric vehicle but that thing is just a gross abomination. When I saw a headline today that the first production units were hitting the road I was shocked. After all this time I was sure they had scrapped this ridiculous thing.
It's not that electric is cheaper, just the obscene cost of gasoline. Here we have a robust electrical grid and it is almost 100% green hydro electric power and it’s cheap. ...unplugging those stupid ijits so they wake up with flat batteries and no white background noise.Buccees has a row of electric Tesla chargers, 6:00am had 4 cars with sleeping drivers. So much fun.....
I'm not an EV fan but I am not dead set against it at all, there is a time and a placeHere we have a robust electrical grid and it is almost 100% green hydro electric power and it’s cheap. The thing that drives me crazy is the idea that EV’s are going to save the environment. If your power grid is fueled by coal of NG you are no better than a gas vehicle and maybe worse.I'm not an EV fan but I am not dead set against it at all, there is a time and a place
I am tired of the absolute lack of understanding of the overall picture and process by the lemmings who just fall into line behind the politicians with their nazi edicts on EV or whatever they are trying to shove down everyones throat this week with their one size fits all mentality

I wish that hydrogen fuel cells amounted to more but 20 years since Ballard first started talking about it nothing much happened. I will say anew New Flyer Is testing some hydrogen fuel cell buses. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we got to the point that “filling the truck” meant turning the garden hose on?
Six pages and 14 hours later and for some reason I am the only one who is worried that you know what Randy looks like in a speedo.Don’t rub us the wrong way lol
That looks like Randy
You tell em gawd dammit !!!!Exactly
They have Zero comprehension of how ANYTHING works, just lock step and regurgitate the dogma that it is BETTER
No questions asked, especially by the libtards that get all up in arms about everything yet are somehow able to turn a blind eye to the devastating cost to humanity and the environment to produce the batteries in ALL of their pet "clean energy" projects
I will shut up now because I know I have gone off on this before and it just gets me cranked up
#imgonnagivemyselfastrokeYou tell em gawd dammit !!!!
She hasn’t spent much time with me lolTrue statement. Probably the worst person on this forum. Just ask my wife for verification.
