I’m glad to say I’ve never experienced a earth quake. Frost quake a couple times but they are tiny. We only get low/medium str hurricanes as a natural threat, we are solidly on a tectonic plate and well into the Atlantic so tsunami is low possibility but it did happen to Newfoundland back in the 1920sYesterday was the 5th anniversary of the 7.2 quake that did this and there were lots of news stories rehashing it, people remembering their experiences, etc

We were sitting here last night at 8:50 PM (Alaska Standard Commmie Free Time) and I could hear and then feel a quake rolling in and I thought here we fuxing go again but it was only a 5.0 about 99 miles north of us, but let me tell you, my butthole puckered and there is still a section of the couch with the leather pulled up in an inverted starfish...
Pictures?Only quakes in 'Sconsin is when some big swamp beast consumes too much whiskey and cheese on a Saturday night and flops onto the tavern floor off the bar stool.
One of the reasons I am happy not to move, no quakes, no hurricanes. The occasional twister springs up and spring flooding once in a while but those we tend to know what to do or look for. Quakes, you get no warning and boom.Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the 7.2 quake that did this and there were lots of news stories rehashing it, people remembering their experiences, etc

This is all true, the science of quakes is rudimentary at best, just like volcano scienceOne of the reasons I am happy not to move, no quakes, no hurricanes. He would be outta there alreadyThis is all true, the science of quakes is rudimentary at best, just like volcano science
In Hawaii we had quakes, hurricanes, and we would get VOG (volcanic fog with all kinds of nasty stuff) when the volcanoes on the big island were active and the Kona winds blew
I guess you pays your money and you makes your choice
@Mastermind would probably move
Like a Roadrunner cartoonHe would be outta there already
