i dont even burn wood and have enough firewood logs and pieces for about 5 dump trailer loads here
i cut for my sister

I processed a decent amount of firewood over the last 3-4 years, and I don't have room for more right now. Sitting on 15-20 cords split and stacked, which will last me 4-5 years. Small property in a regular neighborhood doesn't lend itself to hoarding much more of it. I'd love to move, but it's not in the cards for another 4-5 years, until my son is in college or off to trade school.

Nice, Glad someone got a few good eyefulls.
The moon was way to bright and a ton of stars but no auroras at our place. The sky did have a hue like city light pollution, but I was nowhere near that issue. Checked several times between 11 and 4.

When we still lived in the bush my older boy worked for Crowley Marine on a fuel barge that worked the west coast of Alaska from the Aleutians all the way up, including Little Diomede

They had a mechanical issue or some other reason to stay there for about 24 hours once and he and a friend took the skiff from the barge and hauled ass over to Big Diomede, which is across the dateline and in Russia, just to be able to say they had done it

That could have ended badly
