Why put that much effort into a ford, at the end of the day it's still a ford....

I truly loved that truck. It was super rusty when I got it and it was beautiful when I sold it, but it was just wasn't super practical as daily driver.

Well whether I love or hate something, I really enjoy history, and I like learning about history. History was one of my favorite classes in school.

The history between ford & dodge is neat to me, I read a book on the subject 30 years ago. Back when people still read books. Now there's a few YouTube vid's on the subject.

Henry would of been thrown in prison with martha stewart, had he done these days what he did back then, purposely selling off / devaluing his stock, to try and cheat share holders out of money, he mainly did it to screw the dodge brothers over, but it cost him in the end.

He had a few up there, he built the town of Alberta just so he could setup a mill there.

Before 1935 there was no town of Alberta MI.

We actually had an obnoxious orange Furd Courier (Mazda?) work truck and the owner took it to Earl Scheib and they wiped it down with a tack rag and shot it with the green closest to the company color

There were blobs of grease in the bed and other bits of crap and they simply sprayed over those

But it truly was $99.95

I think 4-5,000 watts would suffice

Any suggestions on brand and model?

Henry Ford also kinda had a hand in kick starting what we today know as, Milwaukee tools. In 1918 Ford had A. H. Petersen Company design him a new lighter faster drill. Previously ford had used a big heavy bulky drill from black & decker.

History channel had a show on this subject a few years ago. Rumor was black & decker started the fire that destroyed the Petersen factory, where fords new favorite drills were being made.
