Do you winterize outboards @Only the Tony ?
Suck the water pump thru with some antifreeze or some such?

Usually just lower the motor with it on the trailer and let the water drain completely. The only thing I have had any problem with is remembering this boat has a wash down system and I forget to let it run dry before freezing weather. Since there is usually never a full month that I don't take it out, I would have to run antifreeze through it every time. About the only thing you have to do is fog the cylinders if you are going to store it for a while.

I have no idea when Komatsu became a thing but my time frame was mid 70s to mid 80s

The Clark rigs were a lot lower general maintenance than the Hysters

I did prefer rebuilding the little flat head 4 bangers in the smaller Hysters though

Dead simple

Worked on a few forklifts, even went to school at Clark for the ev1 and ev100 electric drives. I don't miss working on them. I worked in paper manufacturing, corrugated specifically, and that dust gets into everything.

Good morning men, and others. Next Thursday some of us will be getting ready to fire up the smoker. First year smoking a turkey, so any tips are appreciated. Told the wife there will be no drippings for gravy, as I can't see that being good.
