Public Service Announcement: Don't leave your unoccupied truck running with your piece and 1k in it while you go shopping, someone will steal it. All was found 1/4 mile from where it was stolen save for the cash and the suspect is in custody, but things coulda gone a whole lot worse. Hopefully that dude learned a valuable lesson from today.
Also, fugg new "better, easier computer systems". I put in for two weeks off so I can put the disc brake front end under Yella Ferd and do some slashing. The new computer system that replaced saying "Hey, I want these days off" wouldn't let me take 1 week of unpaid time off under "Vacation" "Personal Day" "Sick leave vacation" or "Sick leave personal day". I don't even know what the last two mean, but I just decided to try all the options until I stopped getting an error. So, tomorrow my boss will be greeted by a request for a week off for "Jury duty".
