Good morning men, family gathering today to meet the extended family of my new son in law. Still better than a wedding reception I guess. Pork is on the smoker, chickens will go in later. Have a safe day all, and hopefully peaceful.

My neighbor has a late 90's S10, few times a month he has to hit the bottom of the tank with a mallet, to kick start the fuel pump.

Two days ago he showed up at my house on foot, his Chevy died half way home, said he thinks his pump finally *s-word the bed for good. I towed his Chevy home with a strap behind my Dodge about 6 miles......

(no point in mentioning delphi makes pumps for every one out there)

#fuelpumpchevylife....

If he ends up putting a pump in it, take a good look at the connector on the top of the tank and while at it, grind the frame bare where the ground connects and make sure that's got a good connection. High resistance in either one was a common cause for pump failure.

Morning / Evening all. Need to mow the lawns and do a dump run but currently can’t see chute the fog is so thick. Hopefully it burns off soon so I can get my chores done and still have some slack time before heading in to the city to meet the family for supper.

Morning men, 43 and thick fog with rain all day

I got enough of a break yesterday with almost no rain plus 24 hrs of high winds and it dried the grass out almost enough to finally run the mower

I had the deck as high as it would go and the grass was actually too wet but it was getting out of control

It ain't purty but it's mowed

Never used a self propelled mower before so there is a learning curve

It's a 2008 and I just turned 190,000 miles and yup, pretty damn trouble free

I am not ashamed to be a big fan of Toyota motor products

My first new vehicle I purchased on my own was a 1976 FJ40 Landcruiser and I never looked back

Momma kicked it up a notch by buying this for me for my 65th birthday and I love it

It's a hybrid and it gets an average of 44 mpg

Plus I wear Birkenstocks around the house...

Let the hating begin

No hate on this end I’m a big Toyota fan myself. Those old FJ are pretty rare and valuable now

Hybrids I completely understand.
The all electric, not so much.
At least in my area. And most areas I travel to as well.
Just an opinion of an idiot with a wrench set.
