Relax Dallas, it is impossible to offend me. I just won't get into a in pissing match about stupid chit. I generally try, and fail, to take the high road. Good group of guys in here, just not one to piss in someone's cornflakes. Carry on.

Man you all is some sick puppies. Got a hurricane coming up to visit from Florida. Been a bit wet. As you all know or don't, lotsa wet stuff plus Georgia heat in August = suck. Making the best of it, because what are you gonna do. Can't wait for it to cool a bit. Needs to be getting some saw time and splitting done. Good for the soul. Stay dry folks.
Will be nice to have cool temps, deer season and wood cutting season. The humidity has been brutal this year, but we had no drought. Which was weird. You guys in the electric industry have had a rough year too. Hurricane season is just ramping up too. Stay safe out there.

I tried 2 different sets of Goodyear Duratrac tires and I won’t buy them again. Even after new front end parts and an alignment, those tires wore very uneven, even with regular rotations and balancing mid-life. Have a set on the wife’s Jeep now and we can’t wait to get rid of them.. They look like a great tire, but they just don’t hold up.

I went through a few sets on 2 different trucks. Wear was good, traction good. Then they got expensive.
They put them on a few models from the factory and I've noticed that the newer trucks tend to chop the hell out of them. Something neither of my older truck did.

But how do they handle the drive through window? That's the real test!

In Winona there’s a GoodYear store, that also has a GoodYear retread facility attached to it. They told us that there’s 3 different grades of their tires: the premium of their tires get sold through their own stores. The “B” grade get sent to distributor warehouses that mostly get sent to smaller mom and pop repair shops, and dealerships, etc. And lastly the “C” grade tires get sent to Walmart, Sams Club, etc.
