Guilty…was slacking at the county fair. Took my kids to see the demo derby….a little different than I remember it when there used to be ample station wagons & crown vics to smash up.2 hours. No poasts. Fughin slackers.

dont go to bed madDone pissed me off now. I'm going to bed.
I see you already ordered one, but my only suggestion would be to go with a mill able to handle wider logs. You can always cut the small diameter stuff, but when you get a big log and you can’t cut it, you’re going to be pissed or frustrated.. Other than that, I have heard great things about Woodland Mills tech support after the sale, as compared to other brands.Thinking about a Woodland Mills bandsaw. Thoughts?
If he enjoys it he could make a good living doing stock saw rebuildsThe reason I'm thinking about buying a mill is really more about Bubba's future than mine. There isn't any good paying jobs around here unless you are either highly educated, or willing to drive a couple of hours a day back and forth to work. If he has a few different skill sets, and the tools to do the work, I believe he will be ok once he's on his own.
My buddy last weekend. This started off as a Escort wagon. I have to say the derby crowd is a little different....but it was a good time. LolGuilty…was slacking at the county fair. I thought about a bigger one, but on the bigger stuff I figured we could split it with a chainsaw if we wanted to mill it up.I see you already ordered one, but my only suggestion would be to go with a mill able to handle wider logs. Good on you for broadening his horizons and teaching skills that will stick with him for life.
