A good friend of mine lives a bit down river from you, but on the cheesy side, yeah all the water in that area is the ole miss river.

Town I grew up in is a indian name for, gathering of waters, or, land of many waters.

There are four lakes inside the township. 1210, 1154, 818, and 97 acres. Like I said 20 minutes in any direction there's over 20 different lakes. It was nice growing up there, almost every Saturday & Sunday afternoons, were spent on a boat fishing. Dad fished the ever loving crap out of us.
Cool, what town is your friend from?

Praire du chein. How far is that from you?

I wonder if any of the lumber you cut ends up in his shop.

He has a large custom wood shop, he makes about anything you want with wood. I know he buys most of his lumber from local loggers.

He’s a solid 2 hours south of me then. Chances are none of my logs make it his way, but anything is possible.. I sell mostly to mills in Buffalo City, WI - Trempealeau, WI, and Mabel, MN. What happens to the lumber after the mill sells it is a big mystery.

We was without power. Big winds. Styrofoam and plastic everywhere.

West side of Joplin was without power when I rolled back in Friday night. Couldn't open the doors to unload trucks, so they were trying to do it in the parking lot. Winds were whipping up so much dirt and detritus that it looked like you were driving through smoke from grass fires.
