Dallas to scoff at muh welding skillz in 3,2,1...

What's the trick to posting 9 pictures in one post?

I get limited to only uploading 5, I've tried a few times to upload 6, I always get a error message.

Not so pro tip of the day. Don't do a brake check while your daughter is climbing from the backseat to the front. 😆 Small crack in the windshield too. View attachment 370459

Better pro tip, don't let your kids get unbuckled, and climb around, while the car is in gear.

Morning slackers, bookworms and metal shavers/fabricators.
Rained here overnite, and being that it went a bit below freezing, both formed bigger sheets of ice in some areas and melted some thicker areas as well.

Claimed to be going to 37f here, most of the fresh ice sheet should melt.

Must have been a bit cooler overnite than we were.

Hows the snow cover, we have 1'-2' in areas that are not piles!

Went ice fishing yesterday,, still a good foot of ice,, fairly hard to. But the snow is now going
The ice on the creek out front is at least 3ft still with a good ft of snow on top. People still driving their trucks on it to access their ice shacks. Looking at the forecast for the next two weeks we freeze every night and never get above 3c/38f so it will be a while before we need to be fully off the ice.

I do need to add the spikes back to my boots, was pretty slippery with the fresh snow this morning.

I walked around my pond tonight. The Koi are out and about. Also saw some nice bass and a few little guys along the edge. Quite unusual for this time of year.

Actually it is. Planning single piece axles once I twist the factory axles in it. The ring gear in an AMC 20 is bigger than a Dana 44.
Yeah, but the splined outers into the hubs is the part that makes you sad, unless its posi.
Had a friend with an 80 CJ7 Renegade that spun a hub. Had the 304.
We put a Currie 9" in it.
No more problems, til it burned up in a barn fire. :crybaby2:
Still gives me the sads...

My nephew is a 30+ year master plumber and also plumbing teacher at a vocational school
He got tired of everybody stealing his
DeWalt, Milwaukee,Makita tools and batteries students and adult student's would steal them all the time.
So a few years ago he bought
Bauer and Hercules from harbor freight
He has no preference but has told me many times they last as long and even some outlast the big three brands
And some of them are more powerful.

I have Ryobi drills and impacts for home use. The cracked Dewalt is a company tool. I actually bought a Hercules 1/4" impact that sockets go right onto. I like it for messing with the bike and stuff
